Hello my friends! And HELLO WEEKEND! It’s going to be a balmy one here in the Northwest – 80 degrees on Sunday! Woot! The plan is to hike, bike, and prepare for next week’s visitors (more on them later). I have a feeling there will also be a lot of patio sipping and bbq-ing – two of my favorite activities.

happy anniversary

19 Apr

Just a quick post to wish my sister and brother-in-law a very happy 4th wedding anniversary! They won’t see this because they are frolicking around Europe for a week (also because they don’t read my blog, as far as I know), but I had to give a shout out because after next year, theirs will be only the 2nd best wedding ever in the history of the month of April. And the world!

Cheers to a long and happy marriage!

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Tonight, we are heading to the McDonald Theater to see Hells Belles, an all-girl AC/DC cover band. Tyler is weirdly excited about it. I am trying to talk him out of the “meet the band” portion of the evening. We also have a couple Skype convos scheduled with potential wedding photographers. Exciting times.

Here are your Friday links!

(Good) Friday links

6 Apr

Hope you all have a great weekend!

According to weather.com, the rain is going to hold off tomorrow, so I think I will venture outside for a hike up Spencer Butte or a bike ride along the river path. There is also this amazing little book store in Cottage Grove that I want to check out. It’s attached to a bar we went to recently and I almost died when I saw it. Pretty sure they have a ladder and I will get kicked out for pretending I’m Belle and breaking into song while swinging on it.

Here are some good links for your Good Friday:

My BFF Vicky’s sister is an insanely talented designer. This is her blog.

Dan Wieden is the man.

Hilarious tumblr.

I wish I was here right now.

Cute ring.

Natural skin care. Definitely going to try this out.

I want these awnings.

How to style a coffee table.
